Survey of spawning sites and migration

In the Autumn of 2018, volunteers provided data from key sites where obstacles to migration have been identified.  In 2023 we facilitated an Inspection by the Wild Trout Trust of Tracey Weir.

Electrofishing surveys

​

As part of its monitoring program, the Association may choose to commission electrofishing surveys.  These will be designed to provide data on the general fish population in the river, and assist in analysing the impact of particular features, such as beaver dams within the smaller streams and tributaries.

Bankside protection and habitat improvement

​

We support projects that will help to protect banks and identify and implement improvements to in-river habitat for the benefit of wild fish stocks.
